Paintings By Animals - Is Your Horse An Artist?
Paintings by animals are unusual and different. Not so different that they cannot become famous as artists though. Some animals are trained to use a brush but these pictures appear to be forced and are all similar in content, but just occasionally, one animal emerges who has a natural artistic ability.
One such animal who has artistic flair is Cholla Chambers the horse artist, who is an internationally known painter with works exhibited at galleries across the globe. Cholla was born in Nevada in 1985 and has not been trained to paint, yet his paintings do appear to be very different to the usual animal pictures. Cholla took up painting naturally after seeing his owner painting a nearby fence in 2004 and seems to love it.
As strange as this might sound, your horse could be a budding artist, so if you think your horse has artistic potential why don't you show him what to do. Give him the brush, paints and stand back and see what he does. You may very well be surprised at the outcome.
