I came across this horse training DVD set the other day. It is a DVD series made by Dennis Brouse, the guy in the Saddle Up television series. If you have been lucky enough to see his series on TV, I am sure you will agree that he seems to have an amazing way with horses.
Each of his TV programs is packed with horse training tips and helpful advice on training your horse and he illustrates his love for these beautiful creatures with a care and kindness that is evident throughout the whole series of programs. The theme of each 30 minute episode is centered around a particular training issue and Dennis uses real situations to illustrate how he resolves the problem effectively and with great gentleness towards the horse.
His horse training DVD series continues along the same theme of training your horse and takes you through 5 different training stages starting with his method of establishing leadership and gaining respect from your horse. Dennis then moves on to obtaining effective control, despooking, problem solving and trailer loading and unloading.
Every horse owner needs help to get over different issues in their relationship with their horse and Dennis addresses these behavioural problems in a clear and straightforward way. All-in-all a very useful and informative series of horse training DVDs using Dennis' unique ability to explain clearly and simply how proper training will enhance your relationship with your horse and allow you both to get the most enjoyment from your riding.
